Our work

What we actually do

Research-backed interventions and a multi-stakeholder approach. We aim to embed inclusion in institutional cultures, not retrofit it in buildings.

Awareness sessions

Interactive sessions in colleges, universities and corporations that change how students and staff think about disability.

We have run sessions across institutions to bridge the gap between intent and inclusion. While the intent to include exists, disabled students and professionals experience reality differently.

Sessions cover the social model of disability, everyday accessibility, inclusive language, and what to do when you get it wrong. They are co-facilitated with disabled speakers.

Expert-led webinars

Open online sessions with disability advocates, educators, technologists and researchers.

Webinars let us reach people far outside the cities we can travel to, and they let disabled experts speak without having to navigate an inaccessible venue to do it. Recordings and write-ups are published on our blog.

In-person dialogues

Face-to-face conversations where disabled people set the agenda and institutions come to listen.

A dialogue is not a panel with a token speaker. Disabled participants decide the questions; educators, employers and officials answer them. We host these in accessible venues, with interpretation and materials arranged in advance rather than on request.
